The new Strawberry Shortcake is a comedy/educational CG series of 22-minute episodes for girls ages 3-6. The series focuses on the quirky community of Berry Bitty City, a miniature town tucked into a strawberry patch. It is home to Strawberry Shortcake and her five girlfriends, all nine years old and two inches tall. The series teaches social/emotional lessons and Emotional Intelligence lessons on community life that will benefit our young audience. The series is also fruit forward Strawberrys earlier series has evolved from a world plentiful with cake and candy to one that now emphasizes fruit, vegetables and healthy eating. Colorful, whimsical fruit motifs are used in visuals and naming conventions.

An orphaned brontosaurus named Littlefoot sets off in search of the legendary Great Valley. A land of lush vegetation where the dinosaurs can thrive and live in peace. Along the way he meets four other young dinosaurs, each one a different species, and they encounter several obstacles as they learn to work together in order to survive.

Philippe Mars wants to please everyone. He wants to be a good father, a friendly ex-husband, a helpful colleague and an understanding brother. Unfortunately, his little world goes out of its planned orbit. His son becomes a hardcore vegetarian, his daughter a compulsive swot, whilst his sister exhibits giant paintings of their naked parents. At the office he must face the rampages of his mentally unstable colleague Jerôme who one night turns up at his door with a young woman in tow who has just been released from a clinic.

Buenos Aires. Exe, 25 years old, has just lost his job and is not looking for another one. His neighbors and friends seem as odd to him as they always do. Online, he meets Alf, a boy from Mozambique who is also bored with his job and who is about to follow Archie, another boy who has run away into the jungle. Through the dense vegetation of the forest, Archie tracks ants back to their nest. One of them wanders off course and comes across Canh, a Filipino, sitting on top of a giant heap of earth and who is about to go back to his strange, beautiful home town, where he too has a miserable job.

This fourth sequel in the series finds “leaf gobblers” eating all the vegetation in Great Valley, driving Littlefoot, the young brontosaurus, and the other dinosaur inhabitants out. Arguments break out among the adults during migration, and Littlefoot and his friends decide to take matters in their own hands by crossing the “big water” to an unknown island. There they meet an old friend from The Land Before Time II–Chomper, the T-rex, who has to protect the gang from his own, carnivorous parents. Plenty of drama in this one, and as the series has been wont to do from the beginning, it shows adults as sometimes being less than perfect.
